More than a typical franchise-consulting firm, DFS is the only firm with experience in managing franchises in this region and possibly the few in the world. We have been developing and managing franchising programs since our establishment. The DFS team served in the organizing committee during the International Franchise Conference 1995, the first franchise conference and expo in Malaysia. Consultants from DFS also conduct training courses organized by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Malaysian Franchise Association and PNS (Perbadanan Nasional Berhad) for prospective Franchisees, Franchisors and Franchise Consultants.

 

DFS acted as Technical Advisors on franchise research projects for the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Co-operative Development and contributed to structuring of the franchise blueprint in Malaysian Plans. DFS also lead the task force looking into the amendments of the Franchise Act jointly initiated by the Malaysian Franchise Association and Ministry of Entrepreneur & Cooperative Development (the ministry where franchising was under then).

 

DFS has conducted franchising assignments in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Australia and Germany.
